Sarah, the wife of Abraham and the mother of Isaac who was the father of the Jews, meets with Hagar, the maidservant who bore Abraham’s son Ishmael, the father of the Arabs. The animosity, resentment, hatred, and bitterness that still continue today finally end in this short story.
